Boardwalk Empire Wedding Styled Shoot

Excuse me while I drool over all the details of this stunning loft wedding styled shoot captured by Edward Lai Photography. And the talent of A Day to Remember Weddings & Events together with all the fabulous vendors who made this styled shoot a gorgeous one. From Edward Lai Photography…

For this photoshoot we were immediately inspired by the modern & sexy feel of The Loft. Using a modern day Boardwalk Empire theme, we want to make use of the brick, wood & leather elements of the room and furnishings.

Decor & Concept from A Day to Remember Weddings & Events: We aligned the long wooden table with a gold sequenced table runner and used a 3-foot wide set of moose antlers as the centerpiece which was adorned with heavy greens with marsala and peach toned florals. We added tall gold candle holders, gold charger plates, peach napkins & beaded gold napkin holders. The cracked style gold wine glasses brought a more modern & stylish element to the table decor. Cafe lights were hung over the white brick to help us create a cozy atmosphere, which also added a soft element to an otherwise masculine look.We also created a decorative display to feature a large Cigar bar. We used mirrors, lanterns & proper placement of the cigars and accessories that were provided by City Cigar. Individual cigars were also used on the table settings as favours and place cards for each guest.

Pink Luxurious Wedding Styled Shoot

Excuse me while I pick up my socks from off the floor. The gorgeous and exquisite details from this styled shoot has knocked my pretty little socks right off! I can not even start to describe how beautiful this shoot is. I’ve got three letters for you: O-M-G. These letters are on constant repeat as I browse through the incredible images from Judah Avenue Photography that has me wowed at each and every detail. Let’s start with my favorite detail: The elegant blush color dress which is unbelievably stunning. I love the skirt and its lovely texture, and how it flows out so beautifully. This gown is everything! One more detail which is worth mentioning is the luxurious tablescape. Now, that is a statement tabletop design with all the lush and gorgeous pink florals, the gold shine, and all the bling which really makes this table stand out. I can really go on about ALL the details from this wedding styled shoot, but I think I will leave some of the details for you to comment on. Bohemian Elopement Styled Shoot

If there is something bridal that I absolutely love, it is a bohemian bride. Yes, the lace dress, the flower crown, the crazy wild and pretty flowers; it all makes totally head over heels in love. But when you have a gorgeous bohemian bride and her groom in the most quaint and intimate setting, then my heart goes pitter patter. That is why today I have fallen in love with a fabulous team of gals who have put together the most romantic styled shoot. A styled shoot all about a beachside elopement. No frills, or any bells or whistles, just simply a bride and groom together with two friends sharing a wonderful moment. The simpleness of this shoot is what I am loving. I am not into the glam and gltiz all the time, (do not get me wrong, I do like a bit of bling time to time), but when you have something as beautiful and sweet as this elopement, none of that glamour is needed. As the Beatles say, “All you need is love”, and that is exactly what I see in this shoot. From the moment the first image came across my computer screen, I knew I was going to fall for this one. Yep, fallen pretty hard. Thank you to Loveridge Photography, The Wild Poppy, along with Twiggs Floral Design and other fantastic vendors for inspiring all the bohemian loving brides out there. Taylor, from A Wild Poppy, and I wanted to create a romantic elopement with a group of small friends. We both love intimate parties where there is a lot of attention to detail and feel like we will start seeing this more and more with elopements. Her style of minimal bohemian in her store and life gave us the perfect theme and the foggy beach of Montana de Oro was the perfect setting.

Every single detail of this stunning bridal styled shoot is absolute perfection! We can not describe in words the beauty that this bride and this gorgeous setting brings. It is simply breathtaking, and all we can say is that we are head over heels in love with this. An incredibly talented team plus gorgeous bride equals a pretty amazing bridal session. Bill Millers castle in Brandford, CT served as the perfect backdrop for what was ultimately an ode to love and the modern bride.

From the flawless hair and makeup provided by Salon Massimo to the lovely way the experienced team at Dani Fine Photography captured each portrait, this styled bridal shoot is nothing short of a fairytale.

Zoey, of Style by Zoey was the stylist responsible for all the amazing looks the ”bride” donned, three gorgeous couture gowns in total. Each piece, Bridal Trousseau on Main by Rosa Clara and a Matthew Christopher, was an absolute dream crafted from clouds of tulle and silk satin organza, embodying both extravagance and elegance. To top off each look, Zoey personalized the ensembles with accessories from both Chanel and Badgley Mischka.

The skilled team at Petals 2 Go designed romantic yet vivacious bouquets with pastel tones accented with violets which offered a rustic chic feel to a otherwise classic look.

For a sweet ending fit for a modern princess, the gracious team at J cakes kept things on trend with a stunning vanilla “naked cake.”

New Year’s Eve Wedding Inspired Styled Shoot by French Buckets and Kat Harris Weddings

There are styled shoots, and then there is this gold infused New Year’s Eve Wedding Styled Shoot by French Buckets and Kat Harris Weddings. It seriously doesn’t get any more fabulous than this! One can never have too much gold. We’re seriously dying over all the glitter and gold. Oh, and add an evening of saying I DO, paired with glitz, glam, and some bubbly, and it is has us busting out our party hats! Ending 2013 with a shoot as stunning as this one, has us celebrating with a whole lot of sparkle and fun.

From Sussanna Davidson of French Buckets…

Inspiration: When Kat Harris approached me about doing a styled shoot and said the words, black bows and gold with a hint of art deco, all I thought about was GOLD… I LOVE GOLD! I definitely wanted something sparkly so I thought sequins and glitter of course.

Table inspiration: I used a star burst mirror from Z Gallery. I wanted gold to spray from the center of the table. I used an all gold textured container with a mix of dark black foliage and an array of white floral. Some accents painted gold. White anemones with gold glittery centers (my favorite element). Added gold butterflies and black ribbon for the chair embellishment.

Bouquets: One simple – a mound of baby’s breath with gold and glitter tips. One Lush Bouquet with the roses dipped in gold and more anemones with gold glitter centers. All wrapped in champagne satin.

Bar: Mary’s private collection of Art deco glasses. Makers Mark Whiskey served with honey and lemon. Glasses are topped with gold flaked sugar. Champagne is a must on New Years Eve! And served on Mary’s Grandmothers antique gold mirror.
Mary also included her own china with matching coffee cups filled with shepherds pie topped with mash potatoes from Jays catering.

Elopement Inspired Styled Shoot from Hope Stanley and Nancy Orozco

Holiday season is not the only season in full swing. This time of year is all about the romance and new loves. I am talking about engagement season. Yep, there is something about the holiday season which sparks love into the hearts of couples. I love this time of year so much. I love the mix of celebration of the holidays and newly engaged couples. What a wonderful time of year indeed. In celebration of engagement season, I am excited to share this super romantic and lovely elopement inspired styled photo shoot. It is not an engagement session, however it so beautiful, I could not wait to share this one. All gorgeously styled by our friend, Hope Stanley, and behind the lens, Nancy Orozco to capture it all. Oh my goodness, the images are to die for. I have always been a fan of simple, intimate, and classical weddings. And this styled shoot has all those details and more. Can I talk about the bouquet for a second? It is a completely over the top, and oversized bouquet with the loveliest mix of colors and florals. I LOVE this bouquet. Floral Riot is seriously a floral genius. I can not get over how gorgeous the bouquet is. It is a perfect compliment to the bride and her gown. SWOON!

Stylist, Hope Stanley tells us…
We wanted it to have the intimacy of a couple who ran away to be married in a small town. The bride is from Spain so we wanted to have a classic European feel of a small village in the country. Scripps college served as the perfect background.
