With Christmas a few days away, we are in total holiday mode. Feeling so festive and full of holiday cheer. But do you know what has us in the holiday spirt today? This styled shoot is no exception, as it brings a red magical charm which is nothing like we have seen before. When you have a group of talented vendors together at a gorgeous and lovely venue, then we know that we will be inspired.   The color red is so breathtaking and has us swooning over all the details. Thanksgiving Wedding Styled Shoot from French Buckets

There are styled shoots, and then there is this fall infused Thanksgiving Wedding Styled Shoot by  French Buckets. It seriously doesn’t get any more festive and gorgeous as this!  Since Fall is probably one of my favorite seasons, you can imagine how excited and in love I am with this one.  Oh, and add a fabulous Thanksgiving spread with all the fixings? I am bursting at the seams right now. What better way to celebrate Thanksgiving? I can not think of anything at the moment as I am too distracted by the amazing and pretty details this styled shoot has to offer. From the super handsome couple, the lovely table scape design,  the elegant and festive florals, and the fall colors mixing so beautifully.  All resulting in a perfect Thanksgiving Wedding.  We give thanks to the uber talented team who have whipped up such a lovely inspiration for all of us. Old brick, worn cupboards, old silver and farm tables.  Pieces that have been used since the first thanksgiving.  Items so comforting and warm.  Pieces made from hand like the pottery from anthropologie and hand written thank yous from Darla Marie Designs.  Just a space that shares the harvest from the fields, friends and love. Clothing – Inspired – Comfy necessities that we would wear to a community Hootenanny.  Natural and intimate.  Wool jackets and worn boots.  Embracing all the things we cherish.

Top Three Valentine’s Day Inspired Wedding Flowers

Fact: I am in love with flowers. Blooms that are simple, over the top, or just a single rose, they make me happy and smile each and every time. In my book, without flowers and blooms, this world be pretty darn boring and ugly. With Valentine’s Day just a couple days away, a gorgeous detail is popping up at each and every floral shop. Beautiful blooms, ready to be picked up and shared with a loved one!  I am all about the romance, and romantic details. That is why today I want to talk about romantic weddings and how florals can make any wedding day oh-so-pretty!  With the help of our incredibly talented friend and floral designer, Sussanna Davidson at French Buckets, we have three gorgeous Valentine’s Day inspired wedding florals to inspire any bride for her wedding day. Go ahead, take a look, and see which bloom is for you.

  • Peachy:  Oh so peachy!  This gorgeous floral arrangement is made up of peach Amaryllis, garden roses, pink jasmine and rice flower.  What a lovely arrangement and so perfect for that garden style wedding.   • Red Hot Love: These blooms are super stunning and totally scream Valentine’s Day. Look how bright and vibrant these flowers look.  This  super gorgeous arrangement is made up of  red amaryllis, pink hyacinth, pink jasmine and wild raspberries.   • Simple and Sweet: These lovely blooms are made up of  sweet pea’s, geranium, pink sweetheart roses and pink hyacinth.  It is simple, yet is so pretty with the pop of colors that are present. New Year’s Eve Wedding Inspired Styled Shoot by French Buckets and Kat Harris Weddings

There are styled shoots, and then there is this gold infused New Year’s Eve Wedding Styled Shoot by  French Buckets and Kat Harris Weddings. It seriously doesn’t get any more fabulous than this! One can never have too much gold.  We’re seriously dying over all the  glitter and gold. Oh, and add an evening of saying  I DO, paired with glitz, glam, and some bubbly, and it is has us busting out our party hats!  Ending 2013 with a shoot as stunning as this one, has us celebrating with a whole lot of sparkle and fun.

Inspiration:  When Kat Harris approached me about doing a styled shoot and said the words, black bows and gold with a hint of art deco, all I thought about was GOLD… I LOVE GOLD!  I definitely wanted something sparkly so I thought sequins and glitter of course.

Table inspiration:  I used a star burst mirror from Z Gallery.  I wanted gold to spray from the center of the table.  I used an all gold  textured container with a mix of dark black foliage and an array of white floral.  Some accents painted gold.  White anemones with gold glittery centers (my favorite element). Added gold butterflies and black ribbon for the chair embellishment.

Bouquets: One simple – a mound of baby’s breath with gold and glitter tips.  One Lush Bouquet with the roses dipped in gold and more anemones with gold glitter centers. All wrapped in champagne satin.

Bar:  Mary’s private collection of Art deco glasses.  Makers Mark Whiskey served with honey and lemon.  Glasses are topped with gold flaked sugar.  Champagne is a must on New Years Eve!  And served on Mary’s Grandmothers antique gold mirror.
Mary also included her own china with matching coffee cups filled with shepherds pie topped with mash potatoes from Jays catering.
