What a fantastic week we have had here at BHL! The weekend is here, and we could not be any happier. The Oscars is almost here too, and that has us pretty excited. But, before all that Hollywood Glam and red carpet fashion, we want to turn your attention to some gorgeous bridal fashion. All on tonight’s episode of  TLC’s  SAY YES TO THE DRESS . Yep, it is Friday, and that means another new episode, and your going to want to watch this one.

If you are a SYTTD (SAY YES TO THE DRESS.) newbie, then let us tell you a little bit about this amazingly fun wedding TV show. The show all takes place at the gorgeous bridal salon, Kleinfeld Bridal in NYC. The show  goes behind-the-scenes  and uncovers the various obstacles every staff member faces to make each bride utterly happy and pleased on what may be the  most important day of her life. The show features not only bridal experts, but emotional brides, opinionated entourages, and dream bridal dresses. At the end of each appointment, the bridal consultant will ask one very important question, “Are you saying Yes to the Dress?”. The answer to this question? You will have to tune in each week to find out.

On tonight’s episode:

This episode it is all about the brides who want a unique bridal gown with a touch of color.  Bride, Erin is looking for a blue colored dress for her destination wedding, but she must first convince her skeptical entourage.  Then there is bride, Heather who loves a flower-patterned gown, but her entourage is shocked about her choice. Lastly, there is bride, Kate who really wants a unique dress that incorporates color. But when she shows off a ball-gown dress with a touch of blue color on the skirt, one of the entourage mentions that it looks like a unicorn. What type of gown is this?  You will have to tune in tonight and find out!

Wrapping up another beautiful week, and about to start the weekend. But, before you head out the door or kick off your work shoes, we’ve got something fabulous for you. One of our favorite TLC TV shows is back! Season eleven of TLC’s  SAY YES TO THE DRESS is back! We could not be any happier. Throwing some confetti around to celebrate. It is time to celebrate and start the weekend in a lovely way.   Lovely with some amazing bridal gowns from a fabulous bridal salon in New York City.

The season 11 premiere kicks off with an incredible story. This episode features bride, Shealynn, an army vet who was injured in a roadside bomb explosion in Afghanistan, and  looking for her dream bridal gown. She knows she wants a gown that will be perfect for her wedding day. What she doesn’t know is the amazing surprise she is going to get while she shops for her wedding gown. The new Late Night host, Seth Meyers stops by the salon to help this very special bride say yes to her dress. What dress will she choose? You will have to tune in tonight to find out!

Sneak Peek of TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta” Season 6 Episode 2

Wrapping up the week with a new episode of TLC’s  SAY YES TO THE DRESS: ATLANTA.  What a fabulous way to end the week and kick off the weekend!   Is there anything better than a weekend of shopping plus bridal details? We are totally giddy this morning, and totally excited for tonight’s episode. We can not wait!  If you are a SYTTD: ATLANTA newbie and want to know what this show is all about, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Tonight’s episode features bride-to-be, Amanda who loves her tattoos and wants to find a dress that shows them off. But her mom does not agree and wants to find a dress that covers them up.  Southern bride-to-be, Lexie is searching for a dress that matches her fiancés family heirloom veil. Then there is Brittany who is indecisive and not sure if she will say yes at her final fitting. Each of these brides have a specific style dress in mind, but will they go home with what they thought they would love? Or will it be something totally different and new? Which dress will they say yes to?  Which dress will stand out the most to them and their entourage?  Tune in tonight to find out!

What an amazing week at BHL. We started the week with a fabulous giveaway, and now ending it with a brand new episode of the season six premiere of  TLC’s SAY YES TO THE DRESS: ATLANTA. Yep, with SAY YES TO THE DRESS finale last week, we get to continue all the bridal salon fun in the South! We so excited that we are doing our happy dance. We are literally jumping up and down right now. Friday is looking oh-so-fabulous today. Fabulous with some gorgeous gowns from a beautiful salon in Atlanta, Georgia.

We are thrilled to be part of the sixth season of the show. If you loved SYTTD (SAY YES TO THE DRESS),  then you will absolutely love this show as well. However, her mother does not agree.  Will Lori and her team be able to solve the cleavage conundrum before her big day? TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta: A Special Episode on Lori’s Fight

Today’s post has a very special spot in my heart. This month is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and in honor of this very important month, I am pleased to share a very special episode of  TLC’s ” Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta”. Last October, there was an episode, SAY YES TO THE CURE: LORI’S FIGHT which documented Lori Allen’s journey from her diagnosis of breast cancer through her treatments and double mastectomy . Tonight’s special episode is a follow up with Lori Allen and her journey with her battle with breast cancer.It is an one-hour episode which features updates from Lori and her family, her current progress, and all the incredible response and love that has been received from the fans.

Last year’s special episode also featured fellow breast cancer survivor Delese Range, as she shopped with her husband for her vow renewal gown at Bridals by Lori. Now, cameras will follow Delese’s journey  as she prepares for her big day, even amidst the latest news that she’s relapsed and is currently battling cancer again. Through it all, Delese exemplifies her unwavering strength and courage at her heartfelt renewal wedding ceremony, with Lori in attendance.

I am very inspired by both of these incredible ladies. They both show strength and steadfastness, which has created a special bond and friendship between them. This episode also speaks to me because my friend recently won the battle to breast cancer. She was diagnosed almost a year ago, and now is living life even stronger now. She has been a true inspiration to me, and I have grown so much by learning from her and what she did to win this battle.  Through all the very difficult times, she remained firm, and fought back, and hard. I am so lucky to have such an amazing friend.
