Sneak Peek of TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta” Season 7 Premiere

We are super excited today. One reason is due to the fact that the weekend is here, but another fabulous reason is that  season seven premiere of  TLC’s SAY YES TO THE DRESS: ATLANTA is premiering tonight! Yep, there are some new Southern brides heading to a bridal salon to find their perfect gown for their Southern wedding.

We are thrilled to be part of the seventh season of the show. If you loved SYTTD (SAY YES TO THE DRESS),  then you will absolutely love this show as well. If you are a total SYTTD newbie, then let us tell you a little bit about this amazing show. The show all takes place at the gorgeous bridal salon, Bridals by Lori.   The goes behind the scenes and  follows a variety of particular and strong-willed southern brides and their entourages as they search for their perfect wedding dress. The show features  Lori Allen, Monte Durham, and the team of experts as they find solutions for all the indecisive brides-to-be.  At the end of each appointment, the bridal consultant will ask one very important question, “Are you saying Yes to the Dress?”. The answer to this question? You will have to tune in each week to find out. Get ready for a whole new batch of southern brides-to-be as search for their dream bridal gown.

On tonight’s Season premiere episode:

The season premiere kicks off with Bride Salina  who is planning to get married at the local courthouse before her  fiancé is deployed to Afghanistan. She is planning to wear street clothes and not a wedding gown.  But her mom would really love to see her daughter walk down the aisle in a bridal dress.  So, Salina makes a last minute pit stop at Bridals by Lori to find a dress!  With the clock ticking, will Lori and consultant Robin find a dress that both Mom and Salina will fall in love with? Will Salina marry in a bridal gown at the courthouse?  Meanwhile, former pageant queen tuned Army ROTC Officer Kelsey is caught between her blingy past and simple present, and with opposing friends in tow, will Kelsey be able to define her own style? Will these brides say yes to the dress? You will have to tune in tonight and find out!

Sneak Peek of TLC’s “I Found the Gown” Season 3 Premiere

Can you say TGIF? We cant stop saying over and over again at BHL headquarters.  Besides the amazing news that the weekend is here, we have some other great news to share. TLC’s, “I Found the Gown”, is back for season three, and we could not be any happier! This means BrideDay on TLC just got more bridal, which means we are pretty happy.

This show is amazing and full of surprises. If you have not ever seen the show, well let us tell you all about it, and hopefully you will get hooked just like we did. This show features a lovely married couple, Rick and Leslie DeAngelo (we LOVE them!), who own VOWS, a discount bridal boutique in Boston, Massachusetts.  They provide brides high-end designer gowns with very affordable price tags. Selling these deeply discounted bridal gowns for 50-80% off retail is no easy task. Rick and Leslie search high and low in factory attics, boutique back rooms, and department store warehouses across the world to score these sought-after looks for less. Each episode will follow their journey to find these amazing treasures, and then back at the shop to share them with three brides and the VOWS consultants.

On tonight’s season three premiere: VOWS is having their annual Gown Rush sale and hundreds of brides flock to the store for the big event! It will be a bit of a challenge and some planning for these brides, as there are over 800 gowns to choose from, and very little time to spare. So, each bride must make a decision today or risk walking out the door empty handed.  How many brides will find the gown of their dreams for a discounted price? Tune in tonight to see it all!

Sneak Peek of TLC’s “Something Borrowed, Something New” Season 2 Premiere

Happy Friday lovelies! Before you head off to enjoy a beautiful weekend, we’ve got some pretty amazing news to share with you. As you know by now, we are kind of obsessed with TLC’s wedding TV shows.  Whether it is about four different brides and their weddings, or choosing the perfect wedding gown, we L-O-V-E these shows! Guess what show is back for another fabulous season? We will give you a hint: a very talented fashion designer and a amazing bridal stylist come together to find the perfect gown for a bride.   Our Fridays are going to be so amazing with the return of  TLC’s SOMETHING BORROWED, SOMETHING NEW. We are so excited that we are throwing ourselves a little “hurray” party over here. Confetti and all. Fridays are looking super gorgeous. Are you as excited as we are?

With the second season of the show, we are so thrilled to be part of it. If you are a SBSN (SOMETHING BORROWED, SOMETHING NEW.) newbie, then let us tell you a little bit about this amazing show. This show follows a bride’s journey to find the perfect wedding dress for her big day. However there is a twist!  The bride will have to choose a new designer bridal gown, or a fashionably redesigned family heirloom. Who will help the bride find something new and something borrowed for her special day? Each episode is hosted by designer Kelly Nishimoto and stylist Sam Saboura, who will work with the bride to help choose between two dress options. Kelly will turn a special, previously worn gown into a gown which is for the time, venue, and personality of the bride. The bride will also have a chance to work with Sam in shopping at a bridal salon to find a brand new stylish dress. What happens next? The bride will have to make a very important decision and choose between a one-of-a kind dress and a newly fashionable piece. Will the bride choose her mother’s wedding gown, or find something new and unique to her? Which one will the bride choose?

Are you ready for Season Two? We can not wait to see what Sam and Kelly will do! We love their style and design.

Season two is kicking off with two back to back episodes! Tonight’s first episode features a New Jersey bride-to-be, Nikki, who is planning a huge Italian wedding with a winter wonderland theme. She is looking for a dress that is decorated with crystals and is skin-tight to flaunt her assets. However, Nikki’s mom is leaning towards her own 80’s style gown as the gown her daughter walks down the aisle in. What dress will Nikki choose? Will it be a dress that Sam finds for her, or one that Kelly redesigns?

The second episode features bride Sarah who is totally Daddy’s little girl and loves to wear her grandmother’s wedding gown. The problem? It is a 1942 bridal gown that is very delicate and falling apart.  Can Kelly save the day and the vintage gown? Or will Sam find a gown that Sarah will fall in love with?  You will have to watch tonight to find out. You won’t want to miss!

What an amazing week at BHL. We started the week with a fabulous giveaway, and now ending it with a brand new episode of the season six premiere of  TLC’s SAY YES TO THE DRESS: ATLANTA. Yep, with SAY YES TO THE DRESS finale last week, we get to continue all the bridal salon fun in the South! We so excited that we are doing our happy dance. We are literally jumping up and down right now. Friday is looking oh-so-fabulous today. Fabulous with some gorgeous gowns from a beautiful salon in Atlanta, Georgia.

The season premiere kicks off with TV personality and former correspondent for EXTRA, Adrianna Costa. She is looking for a second dress for her reception. She has already found her ceremony dress, but is now looking to “sexy” up her second dress. Adrianna is looking for a dress with a more curve-hugging and cleavage-bearing gown. However, her mother does not agree.  Will Lori and her team be able to solve the cleavage conundrum before her big day? What dress will Adrianna enter her reception in?  You will have to tune in tonight to find out!

TLC’s Four Weddings Sneak Peek: Season Premiere

Do you know what today is? It is the kind of day that has me  jumping up and down. Yep, I am actually jumping right now.  I am thrilled to announce that TLC’s “Four Weddings” is back for their season premiere, and I have the sneak peek right here. The popular show features four completely different brides who have never met, and attend each other’s weddings with one wedding being deemed “the winner” at the end. The brides rate the food, dress, venue, originality, and overall experience of each wedding, except for their own. At the end, all the scores of each bride are tallied, and the one with the highest score wins an all expenses paid honeymoon.

On tonight’s episode the four brides are :  A bride who cheers for the New Orleans Saints, a bride who will show off her floral design skills , a traditional Southern bride and a bride who shares her South American culture with her guests.  Each of these brides share their unique style and taste on their wedding day. Which bride will be your favorite? Which bride’s detail’s will you like the best? Which dress will stand out the most? What ceremony will be the most touching? Which bride do you think will win? What do I think? You will have to wait until Friday where I will provide a re-cap on this episode. All I can tell you know is that you do not want to miss this episode! The Harlem Shake, New Orleans style. Yes, it happend.  That is all I can tell you right now. So, you will have to watch tonight to see what that is all about!
