We like our share of traditional weddings, but when a non-traditional one comes along, we are very intrigued. This intimate wedding is far from tradition, but it is not far from love and happiness. This couple shared their vows with a few guests and the New York City skyline as their backdrop. Simple, beautiful, and personal to them. This is why we love weddings. When couples make their day about them and their love. We have to talk about the gorgeous red gown the bride wore on her wedding day. Can you say WOW? This red and black corset dress is a total statement piece, and is absoultey stunning. Again, making this very unique and personal to the bride and her day. The groom is looking pretty dapper as well. His handsome attire compliments his bride’s look just perfectly. This is why we love what we do; blogging about couples and their wedding day, big or small. We love all the wedding details, but most importantly we love to see how couples celebrate their love. So, before heading out the door for the weekend, make sure to browse the amazing images from VeroLuce Photography. This gothic style wedding is totally worth viewing. We have gone through the images more than once!

It doesn’t get any better than this. I get a phone call 9 days out asking if I was available to shoot a wedding? on the Weehawken waterfront from my friend and second shooter, Boris. He and his fiance, Kristina, are definitely not your average couple. Kristina was going to be? making her own gown and he assured me it wouldn’t be white.? Knowing Boris I knew it would be VERY untraditional. They didn’t disappoint. Red and black corset, tulle everywhere, her flaming orange hair, and the warmest day of the season so far standing in the warm sun at 1’oclock. But these two crazy kids turned heads for sure. A quick 15 minute ceremony sealed the deal. No fancy reception, no dinner, just some vows, portraits and a quick drink. It’s definitely different and over the top and nothing represents them better.
