Be prepared for any wedding day mishaps by creating a wedding day emergency kit with some essential items. Your maid of honor can make one for you, or together work on making a fabulous kit. You want to make sure the emergency kit is accessible throughout the wedding day.
Here are some items we think every bride needs for her emergency kit.
- Small sewing kit
- Safety pins
- Clear nail polish (for those runs)
- Nail polish (In the color that you are wearing that day)
- Emery Board
- Hair Spray
- Tweezers
- Bobby Pins
- Lipstick
- Make up powder
- Brush/comb
- Band Aids (various sizes)
- Breath mints
- Mouth Wash
- Antacid
- Chapstick
- Pain reliever (something non-drowsy of course!)
- Hand mirror
- Q-tips
- Stain remover
- Hand lotion
- Curling iron or flat iron
- Tissue (you may want to keep one VERY close to you during ceremony)
- Lint brush
- Tampons
- Eye Drops (Visine)
- Scissors
- Stick-on instant hemming tape
Many of these items can all be purchased in one store. We like to go to Target, where they have a travel section where a lot of these items are available. That way, it can be small size and easy to store.
