We love this time of year because it is all about the wedding shows going around all over the country. Couples are heading into these shows to get inspired and find the perfect vendors for the big day.  But there is one particular wedding show which we are excited to share with you.   It is all about a fabulous wedding event taking place in Huntington Beach, California at the Waterfront Beach Resort.  With This Ring LGBT Wedding Expo is the wedding event that all couples must attend. You will meet the top wedding professionals, enjoy live entertainment, sample some fantastic food, win some prizes, and more!  Bridal Hot List will be at attendance this year, and we can not wait to see all the beautiful wedding details. Post-Bridal Show Recap: The Wedding Salon at the Montage, Beverly Hills

We have three words for Wedding Wednesday: Elegant, chic, and luxurious. The Wedding Salon recently had their annual wedding showcase at the stunning Montage Beverly Hills located in Beverly Hills, California with over 600 guests. What did these 600 guests enjoy that evening? Fabulous and amazing wedding trends, with a focus on destination and honeymoon details.  We were so happy to be part of this wonderful event and thats why today we are excited that we get to share some of the fantastic features from the event. When we arrived before heading into the bridal event, we had to stop off and snap a photo in front of the The Wedding Salon backdrop. Of course, then we had to post it and hashtag #weddingsalon.  The fun began right there!

Beauty makeovers were provided by local Makeup artists like celebrity makeup artist, Kimberly Bosso who provided visuals to brides before their big day.

Couples had the chance to meet with many of the Destination and Honeymoon venues such as The Four Seasons Resort, Montage Kapalua Bay, and Mauna Lani Bay.   We enjoyed stopping by and chatting about all the amazing features each of these venues offers for couples. It made us want to pack our bags and head to one of these fabulous locations!

Sneak Peek of TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress” Season 11

We love Fridays! Fridays means that we are one day away from the weekend, and it also means it is time for a new  episode of  TLC’s  SAY YES TO THE DRESS .So, its a pretty good day today. We love all things  bridal, and when it comes to brides and shopping for their perfect dress, we are totally obsessed. That is why we are so love with Fridays!

If you are a SYTTD (SAY YES TO THE DRESS.) newbie, then let us tell you a little bit about this amazingly fun wedding TV show. The show all takes place at the gorgeous bridal salon, Kleinfeld Bridal in NYC. The show  goes behind-the-scenes  and uncovers the various obstacles every staff member faces to make each bride utterly happy and pleased on what may be the  most important day of her life. The show features not only bridal experts, but emotional brides, opinionated entourages, and dream bridal dresses. At the end of each appointment, the bridal consultant will ask one very important question, “Are you saying Yes to the Dress?”. The answer to this question? You will have to tune in each week to find out.

On tonight’s episode:

This episode features  a bride who lost 100-lbs and wants to find a sexy wedding dress to show off her new look! Bride, Christina is looking for a traditional white gown for her renewal ceremony.  Then there is bride, Lisa who has tried on 100 gowns already, and is still looking for her dream bridal gown. Will she find the dress and not have to look any further? You will have to tune in tonight and find out!

Wedding Store 24 Bridal Expo at Sofitel Beverly Hills Recap

I recently had the privilege of attending another Wedding Store 24 bridal expo at the Sofitel Beverly Hills.  Like other events hosted by Wedding Store 24, this event was a delight and a wonderful sensory experience.  Upon entering the venue, I was greeted with the lovely sounds of live Indian music and beautiful dancers.

After registration I headed over to the “food room” where four vendors each set up a delicious and decadent display.  Here, I found an elaborate assortment of traditional Indian cuisine that was simply delicious. My favorite dishes were the delightful chicken masala and jasmine rice.   Another vendor set up a colorful table of very tempting looking deserts.  It was hard to limit myself to only a select few!

Next I traveled into the vendor ballroom which was beautifully draped in sheer linens interspersed with glimmering bead strands.  The room looked great and with the help of upbeat dance music,  it created an overall fun and energetic environment.  I wandered the various vendor tables and talked with some great people.  Among them was a yummy baklava bakery, an events design company who designed a gorgeous display and a few venue representatives. It was great to see all the detail that goes into putting on a spectacular wedding event.  Not being from the Indian tradition myself, I am fascinated by the mixture of modern tastes with traditional customs.

Toward the end of the event,  guests were treated to a meet & greet with celebrity wedding planner David Tutera.  The long line to chat with the celeb planner did not deter the brides who all seemed excited to get there moment to talk weddings.  Following the meet & greet were two fashion shows with beautiful designs for both men and women.  The models’ energy was contagious.  The audience cheered while they pranced down the runway in some breathtaking designs.  The ladies were dressed in vibrant shades of pink, red, gold and white decorated with shimmering stones. It was gorgeous!

As always, this Wedding Store 24 event was really fun and fabulous.  Brides were treated to delicious food and awesome entertainment, all while getting great ideas for their weddings.  We can’t wait for more events at more fabulous venues!  Of course, Bridal Hot List will keep you up to date on all that’s new and hot in the wedding world!

TLC’s “Secret Wedding” Hosted by Cat Deely

Before you run off to enjoy a lovely weekend, we wanted to share some exciting news! You know we are a huge fan of TLC’s wedding shows right? We love them! While some of our favorite shows have taken a break, we kind of miss all the wedding fun we love so much on BrideDay on TLC.  You can imagine our excitement when we received a wedding surprise in our inbox. Yep, TLC is teaming up with TV personality star, Cat Deely to surprise a special bride with the wedding she’s always dreamed of in the one-hour special episode “Secret Wedding”.  Our wedding loving hearts are full of joy and happiness. So what is this “Secret Wedding”?

Sara is a budget saving bride who thinks she is being featured on a TV show about pulling off her rustic chic wedding for just 10k.  However she is in store for the surprise of her life, as secret wedding plans are made to give her the wedding of her dreams. Who is behind the scenes with all the wedding plans? TV personality Cat Deeley is working with her fiancé, family, and friends to transform her DYI barn wedding into the rustic wedding of her dreams she really wants but can’t afford.

The team sneaks around to plan every detail of the ceremony and reception. From the dress and menu, to the flowers and cake, they want to create Sara’s wedding fantasy.

On the morning of the wedding, all is revealed as Sara meets Cat for the first time and discovers that things are not what they seemed. As one breathtaking surprise follows another, Sara is honored by her fairy tale come true.  She realizes the extraordinary lengths her fiancé and loved ones have gone to in order to bring her wedding dreams into a reality.

You will not want to miss this very special episode on a “Secret Wedding”!

TLC’s Four Weddings Sneak Peek: September 12th

The weather has cooled off a bit, and that makes me happy. It is nice to take a little break from the summer heat. What I am also super excited for is it is time for another episode of TLC’s “Four Weddings“. Yep, I am always happy when Thursday rolls around and it means I can tune in to a show about weddings and all the lovely details that come with them.  If you have not checked out this show yet, let me tell you a bit about it.  This show features four completely different brides who have never met, and attend each other’s weddings with one wedding being deemed “the winner” at the end. The brides rate the food, dress, venue, originality, and overall experience of each wedding, except for their own. At the end, all the scores of each bride are tallied, and the one with the highest score wins an all expenses paid honeymoon. Sounds like a fun-filled show right? If you love weddings as much as I do, then I think this show is for you.TLC

On tonight’s episode the four brides are :  A road trip romance bride,  a bride who is dazzling her wedding with purple, a bride who incorporates sparkle and glamour into her wedding, and a bride who shares her many cultures with her guests at her wedding. Each of these brides share their unique style and taste on their wedding day. I live for weekends. Throw in an extra day, and I am totally in heaven.  Labor Day is around the corner, and typically that is a sign that summer is coming to an end. So, instead of being sad that summer is almost over, we want to kick things off with another fabulous episode of   SAY YES TO THE DRESS.  Friday never looked so good. I want the day to fly so I can sit down and enjoy one of my favorite wedding shows on TLC. I am excited to start the long weekend right. Brides and dresses? Yes please! Happy Holidays From Bridal Hot List

I love the holidays.  Spending time with family and friends and enjoying good times together is really amazing. I am especially excited this year since the launch of Bridal Hot List three months ago. The Bridal Hot List site was formed to be a resource for today’s bride and to provide her with the hottest wedding trends. From wedding gowns, bridal hairstyles, cakes, ceremony styles, to all that is wedding, we want to share it!  Since we love weddings at Bridal Hot List, we also feature real weddings to inspire brides.

I wanted to take a break from blogging today, and share with you what Bridal Hot List has done in the last three months.

I am overwhelmed with joy as we have been able to feature some amazing vendors. We have featured beach-side bridal shoes, wedding invitations, wedding decor, bridal hairstyles, videography, bridal makeup styles, wedding art work, bride personalized journals, gift registries, elegant chinaware, lighting, and amazing venues. Thank you to all our vendors!

We love our photographers and wedding coordinators for the inspiration of the weddings they share on our site. When a real wedding is featured, I get super excited because I love weddings and I can see all the wedding elements come together. I get inspired! Thank you all!

What I feel most lucky about, is the opportunity to work with TLC’s “Four Weddings” Television show. Each week a sneak peek and re-cap of the episode is shared. The show features four completely different brides who attend each other’s weddings with one wedding being deemed “the winner” at the end.
