Citrus State Park Wedding

A wedding after my Orange County hometown heart. Growing up in Orange County, California, there were so many orange trees all over the town, that you can smell the lovely scent of citrus. I loved that smell as it always put a huge smile on my face. When I received this gorgeous wedding from Jaime Davis Photography,  I knew it was going to be amazing. First of all because she is one of my favorite photographers, and secondly because of the beautiful location. Orange trees all around, just like my childhood, and I could not stop smiling after each and every image. The memories came back, and my heart is happy.  Enjoy the pretty details from this Citrus State Park wedding. Chelsea and Justin’s wedding day was located at Citrus State Park in Riverside, California. I was over the moon when I found out the location because I have always wanted to shoot a wedding at an orange grove. This wedding’s location was amazing, but what was even more amazing was the sweet and romantic moments these two shared. Chelsea and Justin exchanged Justin’s grandparent’s wedding bands, and I almost lost it. I teared up at this moment because I love all things that has to do with family history. It was so special and very personable. What an honor to capture such a intimate moment.  The rest of the day was a blast while taking photos of the gorgeous couple, family, and friends, and other fun and sweet moments.

Irvine Regional Park Engagement Session

I will always be a fan of the fall season. Its hard for me to move forward to winter, especially when you have a super gorgeous fall engagement session from Jaime Davis Photography. I have also become a fan of this adorable couple and the love they obviously have for each other. All I imagine are big hearts just popping out from each and every image.  This e-session features the loveliest details, and honestly most of them are from the couple. Yes, the backdrops are full of stunning fall trees and beautiful surroundings, but when you have a couple as darling as these two, all you can focus on is them and their love. They are so darn cute! Of course when you have Jaime Davis Photography  there to capture it all, the session is even more breathtaking.  It is no wonder I am a bit obsessed today, as all the gorgeous photographs are keeping me busy on this Monday morning. It is sessions like this one that makes me love what I do even more everyday. Meet Adrienne and Robert. I knew Adrienne from working with her a venue where she worked. She was always so sweet and lovely to work with. When I found out she got engaged, I was thrilled! Then of course when they asked me to be their photographer, I was honored.  Adrienne and Robert wanted a fall themed engagement session. We found the perfect location at Irvine Regional Park! When we arrived I thought it was going to rain pretty hard, but the weather cleared up and I was able to capture some amazing shots. Anniversary Disneyland Photo Session

We are sprinkling a bit of Disney into the week with this super cute Anniversary photo session from one of our favorites, Jaime Davis Photography . We love Disneyland and everything Disney, so this session has us just tickled pink. . This adorable couple spends their day at the happiest place on earth, and what a magical way to celebrate one year of marriage.  It is not only cute, but very romantic. Disneyland is not just a place for kids or feeling like a kid. It is totally romantic and that is why we think its the perfect place to spend with your loved one. There is a magnificent castle, a lovely restaurant with hanging lanterns, a charming main street, and so many other romantic spots. We may love Disney details as we are Disneyland fans, but even if you are not, after you view the breathtaking images, we think you will become a fan. Lindsay and Nathan said I do a little over a year ago in a gorgeous garden themed wedding at the Newland House in Huntington Beach, California.  But now they are celebrating being married at the happiest place on earth. Meet Jillian and Aaron. They both love red white and blue and wanted to tie that in along with boating/beach for their engagement session. What I love is how they incorporated their daughter, Charlotte and included her in the session. What a cute girl she is! Jillian and Aaron, along with their daughter had a blast the day we went to Balboa Island and the Fun Zone. This location could not be any more perfect for this family.  From the boardwalk, to the sands of the beach, taking photos of this family was so fun!We laughed, and had such a great time! Congrats to Jillian and Aaron!

I will always be a fan of beach engagement sessions. I guess it has to do with growing up in Southern California and being a total Cali girl. I love the beach, and can not imagine living anywhere else. The same is true with this super adorable and sweet couple.  They love the beach and chose Laguna Beach, California as their spot to capture some of their lovely moments as soon to be newlyweds. You can tell how much this couple loves not only the breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, but each other. Their love is so obvious with the stunning images all captured by our very talented friend at  Jaime Davis Photography. I had an amazing time capture Mollie and Brenton’s love story. Mollie went to Australia to become an Au Pair and next thing you know she finds her soul mate. A Bridal Blogger’s Photo Shoot by Jaime Davis Photography

Good morning lovelies! It probably comes to no surprise that I am obsessed with all things wedding. I mean, I get to write about pretty wedding things all the time.  From viewing gorgeous images on my computer screen, and swooning over each and every image, to attending some of the most fabulous bridal shows in town. Oh, how I love my job!  Today, I am doing things a bit different. I am viewing the images from the mini shoot that I recently had the pleasure of being a part of. Do you want to know how a bridal blogger’s mini photo shoot looks like? You are about to see how much fun this bridal blogger had with this photo shoot.

My husband and I have not had professional photos of us since our wedding day, and that was nine years ago! I wanted this shoot to be perfect. Perfect for my husband and I.  It had to be set in nature, and somewhere quiet with breathtaking views.  The photographer also had to be perfect in capturing the images in nature. So, I reached to brilliantly talented photographer, Jaime Davis from  Jaime Davis Photography , and when I  told her this,  she was so excited to be part of this photo shoot.  Jaime knew exactly where to go, and as soon as she showed me photos of this location, I knew that was the place. It was perfect!

Let me tell you, getting ready for this photo shoot, and then arriving at location seemed like a dream. I still thought that I was there to be behind the scenes of someone else’s photo shoot. I was not used to being the subject of the shoot.  After the first few shots, it still felt a bit strange, and then soon after I was super comfortable and we started to have some fun! Thanks to Jaime who knows how to make a girl feel totally comfortable in front of the lens. My husband and I felt like it was our wedding day all over again. Without the white dress and tux, but the feeling of overwhelming love for each other. We truly had a great time.  Can you tell how much we love each other? I think these images speak for themselves. Disneyland Engagement Session from Jaime Davis Photography

Excuse me while I drool over all the magical and lovely details of this adorable Disney engagement session. I know I have said this like a million times, but I LOVE the amazing combination of Disneyland and couples sharing their love for each other. This combination has me tickled pink. I mean, really? Can this e-session get any cuter than this? Oh, and the couple? Their love story is a good one. Super duper, triple timed cute! Can I say cute enough times? Elizabeth and Adrian flew out from Nevada to participate in the Tinkerbell Half Marathon at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. They thought what a better way to spend their day before the race at Disneyland with me and taking their engagement photos. Their love story is really sweet.  Adrian proposed to Elizabeth while going up the hill on California Screamin and Elizabeth screamed out a YES as they were coming down! Could it be more romantic? Come on! Although the park was crowded we had a fun time getting to know each other while walking around the park and shooting at some of our favorite locations. Elizabeth and Adrian are getting married this August at the Hotel Menage in Anaheim. It was such a fun filled day with an adorable couple!

Oregon Winter Engagement Session from Jaime Davis Photography

So, I am a Southern California girl, who is in total love with this winter engagement session. I don’t typically like the snowy type of weather, but there is something magical about this e-session that has won my warm California heart. This lovely winter scene with snow capped trees, and surrounded by freshly fallen snow is totally dreamy. The couple? Do I have to even mention how adorable they are? Kate and James were engaged over the summer of 2011 and got married July 2012. Kate is my best friend and while I was visiting her this winter in Oregon after they had a HUGE snow storm, I thought it would be fun to take some engagement photos since they did not have the chance to do that before their wedding. Kate and James loved the idea, and could not wait to get started. We headed to Mount Bachelor where it was about 15 degrees out. Yes, it was pretty cold, but I had such a blast capturing photos of such a lovely couple in such a gorgeous place, that I forgot how cold it really was. Kate and James are such a fun couple, that this e-session made me smile behinds the lens. It was a cold, but beautiful day!

Balboa Island, California Engagement Session from Jaime Davis Photography

Today’s engagement session makes me so happy and full of joy. I am totally giddy right now.  Why?  Two reasons. First, because it features a super sweet and adorable couple who is so obviously in love it is not even funny.  I mean seriously? Can this couple be any cuter? Second, because the location of this e-session takes place at a location where I spent many of my childhood days enjoying the beach and all the fun activities. Oh, and then throw in a very talented and amazing photographer, Jaime Davis Photography  into the equation, and you have yourself a pretty sweet engagement session.  Fun, laughter, and smiles all around. Can it be any better?

So for their engagement session we made our way to the charming and lovely Balboa Island located in Southern Orange County. A perfect location for these two love birds. We got lucky, because the weather was just perfect for a Southern California October month.  October can be tricky with the weather as it can be really cold and gloomy or warm and  sunny. So we scored! Witney and Frank are such a fun loving couple and they laughed the whole time. We had a blast taking photographs at the Balboa Fun Zone, including riding the Ferris Wheel.  We also had a chance to go to Balboa Pier and take a few beautiful shots there.  This session was super fun and we had such a great time. This couple knows how to have fun while taking photographs. They are for sure going to be ready for their April 2014 wedding. Congrats to Whitney and Frank on their engagement!
