What our beautiful bride told us…

Our wedding was held at The Hills Hotel.  We chose this venue for its beautiful colors and stylish and chic decor. We really loved the chandeliers!   We were so happy to have all our family from Iran and Germany join us in celebrating our big day. His parents came from Iran, and  my aunts and cousins were able to come from Iran and Germany. This was extra special because two of my cousins, who are like my sisters, were able to share the day with me!

Everything on the wedding day went exactly the way we planned!

We had the traditional ceremony with the Sofreh Aghd. My friend Farah and family members worked on the details of the Sofreh Aghd and they were able to design it exactly as I expected!  It had  a color combination of purple & silver.  I chose purple because I always liked purple and even as a kid I would collect anything that was purple. Purple is also the color of my birthstone!

At our reception, the tables had  beautiful purple linens with silver plates and purple silk napkins on top.  The silver chiavari chairs made the color combination come together perfectly. We picked our flower centerpieces ourselves by going to a flower shop and mix & matching different flowers and colors together. It turned out to be a beautiful centerpiece with a mix of roses, orchids, lilies and hydrangeas, all in a  long vase fill with broken glass and a purple light.

The reception hall had purple lighting, and at each corner there was a table of sweets. There was a cake table, a  fruit table, a  traditional tea house,  and a candy station with purple and silver color candy and custom made M&M’s which had our wedding date on them.  The cake was a simple three tier round cake decorated with fresh purple orchids. We served Persian food catered  by Hatam restaurant. We were very pleased with the food and service.

The wedding favor for each guest was Noghl, (sugar covered almonds) wrapped in purple tulle with ribbon with our name and wedding date on it.

We also had  an old classic car to take us around and take some nice photos. I loved it!

I have to say that we were so happy with everything in our wedding!
