1. Look for a hotel that offers free parking and stay the night before leaving from a port city, on a cruise. You can check with staff at the hotel for unpublished parking deals.
2. Purchase tickets online for any attraction you may be visiting. You will generally pay a nominal fee for this service, but you won’t have to wait in ticket lines when you arrive. Some parks now have tickets that contain a specific time in order to avoid lines.
3. The markup on these small products is ridiculous. Try to be more efficient in how you pack instead. These minimizing tricks will allow you to pack more in a smaller space.
4. Try opting in to e-newsletters of major airlines. E-newsletters show you any special discounts or last-minute offers they have available. Yes, they will fill your inbox more, but the rewards and savings can be worth it.
5. If you enjoy visiting the gorgeous National Parks and plan to do so often, consider investing in an affordable National Park Pass. They are only $50 and can be used for one year at all of the parks.
