The weekend is here, and it is a three day weekend! Yippie! Even better. We are super happy over here, and can not wait to start the weekend BBQs, beach days, or just some relaxing at home. But before any sunbathing or firing up the grill, we have a brand new episode of TLC’s, “I Found the Gown”.  Get ready to start the weekend right!

This show is amazing and full of surprises. If you have not ever seen the show, well let us tell you all about it, and hopefully you will get hooked just like we did. This show features a lovely married couple, Rick and Leslie DeAngelo (we LOVE them!), who own VOWS, a discount bridal boutique in Boston, Massachusetts.  They provide brides high-end designer gowns with very affordable price tags. Selling these deeply discounted bridal gowns for 50-80% off retail is no easy task. Rick and Leslie search high and low in factory attics, boutique back rooms, and department store warehouses across the world to score these sought-after looks for less. Each episode will follow their journey to find these amazing treasures, and then back at the shop to share them with three brides and the VOWS consultants.

On tonight’s episode: Bride-to-be, Sarah’s critical aunt threatens her dream dress vision. Meet bride, Dana  who is having a hard time finding a dress that will match up to the gown she found online. Then, there is bride, Jarivette who has only 3 weeks until her wedding day. She has some help from her son to do the dress hunt for her.

Oh my goodness, is it Friday already? We can not believe that the weekend is here and with Mother’s day on Sunday, we got sidetracked with all the lovely planning with mom day. But we have not forgotten about a brand new episode of TLC’s, “I Found the Gown”. Actually this is a great show to watch with mom, and make it a daughter/mom night. It is the perfect time!

Can you believe another gorgeous week has flown by? The weekend is here, and that means relaxing, sleeping in, spending time with family and friends, or just doing nothing! Whatever you agenda looks like this weekend, you must add some time to watch this week’s episode of  TLC’s  SAY YES TO THE DRESS .  We are totally going to watch it, and eat some popcorn, and talk about each and every detail! Fun right?

If you are a SYTTD (SAY YES TO THE DRESS.) newbie, then let us tell you a little bit about this amazingly fun wedding TV show. The show all takes place at the gorgeous bridal salon, Kleinfeld Bridal in NYC. The show  goes behind-the-scenes  and uncovers the various obstacles every staff member faces to make each bride utterly happy and pleased on what may be the  most important day of her life. The show features not only bridal experts, but emotional brides, opinionated entourages, and dream bridal dresses. At the end of each appointment, the bridal consultant will ask one very important question, “Are you saying Yes to the Dress?”. The answer to this question? You will have to tune in each week to find out.

This episode features  bride-to-be, Nicole who is having a black tie wedding event, and wants to find the perfect gown to compliment that look. Nicole is totally daddy’s little girl, and hopes to find a gown that he will like as well.  But, Dad picks a super-sexy gown for his daughter, and his choice surprises not only the consultants, but Nicole as well. We are so excited because not only is it Friday and time to start the weekend, but it is also BRIDEDAY! The name itself suggests that we should just start our weekend NOW! We are ready for this! Wrapping up another beautiful week, and about to start the weekend. But, before you head out the door or kick off your work shoes, we’ve got something fabulous for you. One of our favorite TLC TV shows is back! Season eleven of TLC’s  SAY YES TO THE DRESS is back! We could not be any happier. Throwing some confetti around to celebrate. This episode features bride, Shealynn, an army vet who was injured in a roadside bomb explosion in Afghanistan, and  looking for her dream bridal gown. She knows she wants a gown that will be perfect for her wedding day. What she doesn’t know is the amazing surprise she is going to get while she shops for her wedding gown. The new Late Night host, Seth Meyers stops by the salon to help this very special bride say yes to her dress. What dress will she choose? You will have to tune in tonight to find out!

Sneak Peek of TLC’s “Something Borrowed, Something New” Season 2 Episode 4

Weekends are the best right? They are even better when they kick off with a new episode of TLC’s SOMETHING BORROWED, SOMETHING NEW.  What a fabulous way to celebrate the weekend! Brides and their bridal gown findings? Yes please! We love this show, and can not wait to grab our favorite snack and enjoy this amazing show!

If you are a SBSN (SOMETHING BORROWED, SOMETHING NEW) newbie, then let us tell you a little bit about this amazing show. This show follows a bride’s journey to find the perfect wedding dress for her big day. However there is a twist!  The bride will have to choose a new designer bridal gown, or a fashionably redesigned family heirloom. Who will help the bride find something new and something borrowed for her special day? Each episode is hosted by designer Kelly Nishimoto and stylist Sam Saboura, who will work with the bride to help choose between two dress options. Kelly will turn a special, previously worn gown into a gown which is for the time, venue, and personality of the bride. The bride will also have a chance to work with Sam in shopping at a bridal salon to find a brand new stylish dress. What happens next? The bride will have to make a very important decision and choose between a one-of-a kind dress and a newly fashionable piece. Will the bride choose her mother’s wedding gown, or find something new and unique to her? Which one will the bride choose?

Tonight’s first episode features a curvy bride to be, Audrey who has been very self-conscious to try any wedding dresses on. She is having a Candy-land style wedding and is looking for a dress that has a crazy styled skirt.  She does not have much confidence with her mother’s 80’s wedding gown. So will Audrey find the wedding gown that reflects who she is ? Will it be something new that Sam finds her, or will she walk down the aisle with mom’s 80’s re-designed gown that Kelly creates?

However, will Karina find the dress of her dreams when shopping with Sam? Or will she fall head over heels in love with her mother’s dress that Kelly redesigned?  You will have to watch tonight to find out. You won’t want to miss!
